We always look forward to welcoming new students and their families into our school community at Upper Plenty.

All government primary and secondary schools have a school zone. A school zone defines an area’s designated neighbourhood government school. Every Victorian student has a legislated right to enrol at their designated neighbourhood government school (local school).

Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria.

Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address.

Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and may enrol at another school, if there are available places.

Foundation 2023

We have limited vacancies for Foundation enrolments in 2023 for students who reside outside our local area. Please call the school office on 5783 1358 if you wish to enrol in Foundation in 2023.

School Tours 2023

During a tour of our beautiful school, you will be able to look through the school and speak with the Principal, Sue Egan in relation to what is offered and your family and child’s needs.

Transition 2023

Tuesday, December 13

All new students for 2023 are invited to attend UPPS for our half day transition where our students meet their 2023 classmates and teacher. These sessions take place in the allocated 2023 classrooms.

Foundation 2024 Enrolments

DET has announced that a statewide consistent approach to Foundation enrolments will be in affect next year. Details will be provided to schools in Term 1 of 2023. Schools can not accept any Foundation enrolments until Term 2 of 2023, for the following year and will have to follow the new guidelines and dates.
